Underwater photographer

As a commercial photographer, my assignments can take me to environments of extreme contrast, from shooting corporate portraiture, engineering and architecture to aquatic events including water polo and swimming, underwater fashion and travel. Shooting underwater has definitely made me a better photographer, with the combination of technical skills and discipline required, both as a diver and photographer providing a demanding yet extremely enjoyable environment to hone my craft.

The following are a selection of editorial images from Wakatobi in Sulawesi, Southern Visayas in The Philippines, and Kimbe Bay in New Britain, within an area known as the ‘Coral Triangle’ and recognised as the world’s epicentre of marine biodiversity. It’s also my favourite destination to experience pristine waters and extensive marine life.
